NoSQL refers to database management systems that follow a non-relational approach and therefore do not use fixed table schemas. Joins, i.e. the compilation of information from different tables, can thus be avoided. This significantly increases the query speed and enables a higher horizontal scaling of the database.
NoSQL
Why did soxesd use the NoSQL database?
Relational databases often reach their performance limits in data-intensive applications. This is the case, for example, with websites with high load volumes and streaming media applications. In contrast, database systems with a NoSQL architecture offer high performance potential with many read/write requests.
Where did soxes use the NoSQL database?
soxes has used a NoSQL database management system, for example, in the development of the MyPortaNet application. The digitalised measurement and information system for windows, doors and gates generates large amounts of data. Due to the many write and read requests of the IoT solution, a MongoDB database, among others, was used to meet the performance requirements.
