It is often used to back up web services and is often used in combination with Linux, Apache and PHP, which together form the widely used LAMP stack.

Why does soxes use MySQL?
MySQL is often used in projects for web applications at soxes. MySQL databases are used, for example, in web shops or CRM systems. They are designed for high read and write speeds and are also very portable due to their cross-platform architecture.
Where did soxes use MySQL?
soxes has implemented the smartBSAzg application for the road maintenance department of the civil engineering office of the canton of Zug. The smart BSA tool inventories all operational and safety equipment located on the cantonal roads and in technical premises of the canton of Zug. The tool contains all master data, which can be dynamically synchronised with connected systems via an XML interface. Thanks to its excellent performance and good scalability, a MySQL database is used to back up this master data.
