Here’s how the collaboration with soxes works

Do you have a specific project, a technical problem, or software that’s no longer keeping pace with your processes? From manageable projects to complex system initiatives, we’ll support you with the right technical expertise. What we need for the initial consultation: Your take on the situation. What isn’t working? What needs to improve? This allows us to make the most of our first meeting, ask the right questions, and work together to determine how we can support you.

Our 4-step process

1. Understanding what really matters

We listen closely. Because every project starts with a clear understanding of your goal, your context, and your challenges.

2. Detailed Specification & Feasibility Check

A solid foundation is essential. We create adetailed specification, including architecture and a timeline.Together, we assess what is technically feasible and realistic, and we also show you what doesn’t work (yet). Openly and honestly.

3. Proposing the best approach

Whether it’s consulting, software development, or a mix of both: We’ll show you how your project can be implemented in concrete terms.

4. Development & Implementation

Now it’s time to get down to business: Our development team implements your solution using state-of-the-art technology. Programming, testing, and quality assurance ensure a first-class end product.

What happens after you submit your request?

At soxes, the first step isn’t about immediately putting together a quote. It’s about fully understanding your situation. Once you’ve contacted us, someone from our team will reach out to you personally.
Usually within one business day.
You’ll speak directly with someone who can assess your needs!

During our first conversation, we’ll clarify:

  • What is the reason for your inquiry?
  • What problem needs to be solved?
  • Is there already an existing system?
  • Who will be using the solution later?
  • Which processes, data, or interfaces are involved?
  • Are there any time, technical, or budgetary constraints?

The conversation usually lasts 30 to 45 minutes, is free of charge, and non-binding. Afterward, you’ll have a better idea of whether soxes is the right partner for your project and what the next logical step would be.

Key points at a glance

  • 1

The initial consultation is free and non-binding.

  • 2

You don't need a requirements document, a detailed specification, or an in-house IT team.

  • 3

We start with understanding, not with development.

  • 4

You'll receive a clear assessment of the process, the effort involved, the risks, and the next steps.

  • 5

Throughout the project, you will have a dedicated point of contact.

  • 6

After the go-live, we’ll continue to support you with technical support, maintenance, and further development.

Collaboration Models: Which One Is Right for You?

  • Personalized Consulting & Workshops

We'll sit down with you and work together to develop a strategy before a single line of code is written.
This is a good fit if: You're not quite sure what you need yet, or you want to reevaluate an existing system.

  • Dynamic fixed price

You’ll receive a fixed total price, but you can still make adjustments during development without going over budget.
This is a good fit if: You need planning certainty, but know that requirements may still evolve.

  • Time and Material

You pay for the actual work performed. This model is ideal for projects where requirements are still evolving or are being refined step by step. It’s a good fit if you want to remain flexible.

  • On-Demand Engineer

We provide you with experienced developers, project managers, or technical experts. This is ideal if your internal team needs short-term support or lacks specific expertise.

  • SLA (Service Level Agreement)

Clear response times, defined scope of support, and reliable availability after go-live. Ideal if: Your system is business-critical and downtime results in real costs.
