Initial situation
The sales process for used machines was time-consuming and rather inefficient, as the availability of the machines had to be requested by telephone and checked manually.
Solution
soxes solved this by designing and developing a concise digital solution. Wacker Neuson’s new website presents all available products in a clear manner and enables customers to make product inquiries with minimal effort. These inquiries are automatically forwarded to the responsible employee, streamlining the manual process of selling and renting used machines.
Technologies used
soxes used various technologies and plugins to develop the solution, including WordPress. In addition, two custom plugins were developed: “Wacker Import” for automating and categorizing web inquiries and “Wacker Neuson Simple Download” for improved download functions for information documents.
Result: Intelligent request processing
The big advantage for Wacker Neuson is the channeling of requests. They are automatically forwarded to the responsible employee. This includes both the geographical location of the customer and the product in order to guarantee the best possible advice. To solve the problem of localization, geolocation is integrated, which determines the nearest location.
