Challenge and solution
To improve the project process at Sulzer Pumps, Sulzer Pumps Ltd. commissioned soxes to create a software solution based on Microsoft Access and Excel. Today, all projects at Sulzer Pumps are coordinated via the Order Progress Room newly developed by soxes. The MS Access-based application provides a clear overview of all orders, including order number, customer name, project name, and project manager, and enables targeted filtering. Orders can be sorted by both the calculated and agreed delivery date.
Result: Digitalization of the ordering and production stages
The core function of the application displays the order and production stages and makes it possible to determine for each order whether the scheduled date can be met and whether there are any delivery delays. From this overview, the order status can be generated in the form of reports that can be displayed up to DIN A0 size and even printed as posters. The application also has an import/export interface to the Sulzer ERP systems via Excel.
In use worldwide
Thanks to the Order Progress Room, the project process at Sulzer Pumps has been made clearer and its handling optimized. The solution is used worldwide (multi-user capable).
