A powerful access solution that meets Sulzer's needs
To improve the project process at Sulzer Pumps, Sulzer Pumps Ltd. commissioned soxes AG to create a software solution based on Access and Excel. Today, all projects at Sulzer Pumps are coordinated via the Order Progress Room newly developed by soxes. The Access-based application clearly displays all orders, including order number, customer name, project name and project manager thanks to filter functions. The orders can be sorted according to the calculated or agreed delivery date.
Digitisation of order and production stages
The core function is the listing of the order and production stages, whereby it can be defined for each order whether the respective stage can meet the planned deadline or not and whether there are any delivery delays. Based on this order status overview, reports of up to DIN A0 size can be generated and even printed out as posters. There is also an import/export interface via Excel to the Sulzer ERP systems.
In use worldwide
Thanks to the Order Progress Room, the project process at Sulzer Pumps has been made clearer and its handling optimised. The solution is used worldwide (multi-user capable).
