Equipped for the future thanks to process digitisation
tarifsuisse AG is optimising its processes and IT landscape in order to continue to benefit from competitive advantages in the future. As external support, soxes advised tarifsuisse AG in this matter. The aim was to systematically create an analysis of the current state of processes and IT systems in order to identify any potential for optimisation.
Analysing optimisation potential
In the first phase of this project, soxes started with an analysis of the processes within tarifsuisse. For this purpose, core processes were identified that are critical to the company and require particular attention. In cooperation with the process owners, soxes recorded the value chain as well as all event-driven process chains and visualised them in detail. The analysis and mapping focused on the organisational units involved, as well as their tasks, functions and, in particular, the tools and systems used. This enabled soxes to get a precise picture of the processes and existing optimisation potential.
Process optimisation without data loss
Based on the current state, tarifsuisse AG was then able to see for each core process which interfaces it had, which tools were used and which artefacts existed. Thus, an exact picture of the entire IT landscape of tarifsuisse was available. Based on the analysis, it was also possible to identify which data is generated or required within the processes. With the collected knowledge, tarifsuisse was now in a position to optimise its processes effectively without losing data or eliminating important processes. Optimisations should only be made if all key figures and connections are clearly recognisable and known.
