Mentoren App
A virtual meeting point
Among other things, the Values Foundation runs a mentoring programme for athletes, in which a mentee is supported by a mentor in the transition phase between their sporting and professional careers. To support this programme, the Werte-Stiftung wanted soxes to develop a mobile app with a networking idea to promote exchange and communication between mentors and mentees.
Technologies used
For the development of the mobile app, the Phonegap framework was used, with which native apps can be implemented in the conventional web development stack consisting of HTML, CSS and JavaScript. All personal data is stored in anonymised form in the MySQL database in compliance with DSGVO. The content management system (CMS) for managing all data was implemented using the Python web framework web2py.
Overview through optimisation
The mentor app makes it easier for mentors and mentees to find and network with each other. Thanks to the CMS, the Werte-Stiftung can easily manage all the information in the app and always maintain an overview.
