AXA Business Shield
Better risk assessment thanks to the Internet of Things
Challenge
AXA wanted to protect its business customers from damage using a preventive approach and decided to develop an innovative solution together with soxes. Thanks to soxes’ experience in the field of IoT and UI/UX, a cloud-based alarm solution called “AXA Business Shield” was designed. This is based on instaGUARD, a Swissphone platform that soxes has already developed and specially adapted for AXA.
Solution: Efficient damage prevention
In an emergency, such as a fire or burglary, the system quickly notifies customers via various communication channels, significantly reducing response times. This has already prevented major fire damage at one customer’s premises.
Result
The field trial has been completed and the solution has been successfully implemented. AXA customers continue to use AXA Business Shield to effectively protect their infrastructure.
Technologies and integration
soxes designed the front end as a white label solution, adapted to AXA’s CI/CD guidelines. Together, sensors for movement, humidity, water, and other risks were selected and integrated into the solution. The sensors were installed and successfully tested at various AXA customers as part of a field trial.
