Implementing a customer portal
In order to digitalise the internal and external company processes and make them more efficient, a website was developed using WordPress. Thanks to the content management system that WordPress offers, the administrators of the website can easily manage and expand their content themselves without having to resort to developers. The website was equipped with a client portal through which Swissplan can provide documents to its clients.
The client portal is also available as a free iOS and Android app. The app offers clients quick access to their files. If a file has already been downloaded, an active internet connection is no longer required to view it. This is made possible by an intelligent caching system and offers users the possibility to retrieve files quickly. The app also informs about changes via push message.
The website and the client portal were designed in line with the corporate design and embody the corporate identity. Through the digital approach, Swissplan offers its clients the possibility to manage their documents completely digitally, without having to scan them first. In addition, the client portal is more practical than delivery by mail, as all files are in one central location.
